The Board Builder series is for people who have not yet completed governance training, are new on their Boards or are aspiring Board members.

On these virtual, live workshops with LEAD NFP governance experts you will learn with and from others on Boards, ask relevant questions and apply what you are learning in the real world of your not-for-profit organisation.

Participants receive a certificate on completing five out of the six sessions in each series. Sign up for the series of six workshops for $295 plus GST, or $59+GST for each session.

Board Builder #3: Toeing The Line

Community and not-for-profit organisations must operate within the law and there are specific laws around governance that all new Board members should be aware of. In this, the third of six sessions for new Board members, we will look at the compliance requirements and obligations of individuals and Boards, legal structures, and ways of managing conflicts of interest, to ensure you and your organisation stays on the right side of the law.
