The Board Builder series is for people who have not yet completed governance training, are new on their Boards or are aspiring board members.

On these virtual, live workshops with LEAD NFP governance experts you will learn with and from others on Boards, ask relevant questions and apply what you are learning in the real world of your not-for-profit organisation.

Participants receive a certificate on completing five out of the six sessions in each series. Sign up for the series of six workshops for $295 plus GST, or $59+GST for each session.

Board Builder #1: Being On Board

If you’re new to governance and have found yourself asking, “What have I signed up for?”, this is the course for you. Consider it Governance 101 as we look at the purpose of Boards and why we have them, the various types of Boards, and the sort of work involved. We’ll explore the value Boards bring to an organisation, and set you up so you have a clear understanding of your role so you can hit the ground running.
