Governance Bytes: Being On Board

Governance Bytes are a series of workshops where we take a dive into topics relevant for those who are on a board or wish to be on a board of a community / not for profit organisation.

On these live, online workshops with LEAD NFP governance experts you will learn with and from others on boards, ask relevant questions and apply what you are learning in the real world of your not for profit organisation.

Being On Board

If you’re new to governance and have found yourself asking, “What have I signed up for?”, this is the course for you. Consider it Governance 101 as we look at the purpose of boards and why we have them, the various types of boards, and the sort of work involved. We’ll explore the value boards bring to an organisation, and set you up so you have a clear understanding of your role so you can hit the ground running.
